A picture from 2002
A worked a lot with the sky lab. I changed the intensity of the shadows the ambient light and the clouds.
I modeled the arch in the front with Carrara.

A picture from 2002
One scene and endless possibility. The clouds are not realistic but I like floating look :-)

A picture from 2002
A picture with two suns. (I know that this is not realistic)

This is a very complex scene with many terrain
objects. The cathedral is the most complicate object in this scene. I will not say that it was easy to build and place all the objects, but with building the cathedral the most was done.

Here is the original picture " Gotischer Dom am Wasser " from Schinkel (German master builder and painter 1781-1841).
You can compare it with my picture :-)

The interesting thing with a scene like this is, that you can move around and change the weather. This picture shall show a evening mood.

|
For those interested in the beginning of the scene here is a very early version. At first I choose the point of view and then placed the objects.
I placed a copy of the poser man near the models all over the scene to
find the right scale.

This is the scene from the top.

Here is only the cathedral on this picture. With the exception of the roof I made everything with terrains in Bryce.
|
|
This is a version from the inside of the cathedral model.
|
|
This is one of the first versions of the model.
Later I changed a lot :-)
